Missing OS is an adventure story game where you and your COMPANION search through the files of an abandoned computer without an operating system.

SHELL Theme Explanation:
"a operating system shell is a computer program that provides relatively broad and direct access to the system on which it runs", in this game you control an AI Companion bot that is acting as the shell between the user (you) and the system.

Really high quality game but i dont know how this relates to the theeme of "SHELL"
It is based off of the technical definition of a computer shell, which according to Wikipedia is "a operating system shell is a computer program that provides relatively broad and direct access to the system on which it runs". In this game your companion is acting as your shell to let you interface with the system. I hope that makes sense!! Thank you for playing by the way :D
